Tell me your usual size and market, and I’ll write the size filter set — including the neighbouring sizes worth ticking.

Why one size filter misses listings

Filtering Vinted to a single size assumes every seller labelled their listing the way you would. They didn’t. The same dress gets listed as EU 38, UK 10, IT 42, or just M, depending on the label the seller happened to read and the market they bought it in. Tick only one of those and the other listings simply never appear.

Then there’s drift. Vintage and older pieces — jackets and jeans especially — were cut smaller than the same number today, and fast-fashion labels wander a full size between brands. That’s why the builder suggests a small set of filters rather than one, shaped by how you like things to fit.

One caution worth repeating: every conversion here is approximate. Charts disagree at the edges, brands ignore charts entirely, and the only numbers that never lie are the garment measurements in the listing. When a seller includes them, trust those over everything this page says.

Questions

Why include adjacent sizes at all?

Because sellers don't size-check before listing. A piece gets listed under the size on its label, under a converted size, or under the seller's best guess — and labels themselves drift by brand and decade. One extra tick in the filter often surfaces the listing your exact size would have hidden.

How accurate are the conversions?

Approximate, and honestly so. Size charts disagree at the edges — especially for shoes and Italian sizing — so treat converted numbers as where to look, not what will fit. When a listing includes garment measurements, those beat any label or conversion.

Does this work for menswear or kids' sizes?

Not yet — the ladders here are womenswear. Menswear and kids' sizing run on different scales, and pretending one table covers all three would make the tool less honest, not more useful. The check-the-measurements advice still applies everywhere, though.

The honest bit: Vinted Finder is an independent app that helps you search for second-hand listings on Vinted. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Vinted. You browse and buy on Vinted itself. Listings change fast — price, condition, and availability live on Vinted, and exact matches are never guaranteed.
