Vinted alert builder

Define the search once — item, strictness, size, budget — and get an alert plan that does the daily checking, so you don't have to.

Describe the item — even roughly — and I’ll draft the alert: the saved search, the rules, and exactly what would ping you.

Why alerts beat checking

Vinted inventory turns over daily: the listing you wanted yesterday is sold, and the one you’ll want tomorrow isn’t up yet. Manual checking means catching that churn at whatever moment you happen to open the app. An alert flips it — you define the search once, properly, and every new listing gets measured against your rules the moment it appears.

The rules are what keep an alert useful instead of noisy. Strictness decides whether close wording counts — sellers write moto where you wrote biker, faux leather where you wrote leather. A budget ceiling and your size silently discard most of what gets listed. The honest trade-off: the stricter the rules, the quieter the alert, and a quiet week usually means nothing qualified — not that nothing was checked.

Worked example

“Black leather biker jacket, size M, under €80, exact + close, instant” becomes the saved search black leather biker jacket with four rules attached. A black moto jacket faux leatherlisting at €55 pings you; the €120 one and the kids’ costume version never do. When and why to set one up is covered in the saved searches guide.

Questions

Do these alerts work without the app?

This web tool plans the alert; it doesn't run it. You can save the search on Vinted yourself and check it manually, which already beats retyping the query every day. The iOS app is what automates the watching — it keeps the search running and notifies you when a new listing qualifies.

How strict should I set the match?

Start with exact + close. Exact only is for when you know precisely what she's called and would rather hear nothing than almost; same energy too is for when the vibe matters more than the label. If a week passes in silence, loosen one notch rather than rewriting everything.

Will I get spammed with notifications?

Not if the rules do their job. A budget ceiling, your size, and a strictness setting mean most new listings never reach you. If it still feels noisy, switch to the daily digest cadence or tighten the search words — a good alert is quiet most days.

Does an alert guarantee I'll find the item?

No. An alert can only match what sellers actually list, and some items simply don't surface for weeks. What it guarantees is that when she does appear, you're not the person who finds out three days late.

The honest bit: Vinted Finder is an independent app that helps you search for second-hand listings on Vinted. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Vinted. You browse and buy on Vinted itself. Listings change fast — price, condition, and availability live on Vinted, and exact matches are never guaranteed.
