Vinted is not a catalogue. It's a stream. What you searched this morning is not what exists tonight. Empty results today say nothing about next week.
- The good ones go fast
A fairly priced piece in good condition rarely lasts the day. An alert means you don't have to keep checking. It tells you when a check finds a match.
- Exact matches tend to come later
The person who owns your exact piece may not have sold it yet. A saved search waits for that moment.

- Alerts depend on live listings and match quality. If nothing close appears, you hear nothing. Silence is honest.
- We check on a schedule, not live. You hear from us when we find something, not the moment a seller posts it.
- A saved search keeps your sizes. You only hear about pieces that fit.
- You can pause or delete any alert at any time.
- An alert opens the real listing on Vinted. You buy there as normal. The app never buys for you.
- A good match can still sell before you open the notification. That's second-hand.

Vinted alerts, answered
Doesn't Vinted already have saved searches?
Yes. Vinted lets you save a search and shows new results in your feed. For simple keyword searches that works well. Vinted Finder alerts are different. They start from a screenshot. Each match has a label for how close it is. They keep your sizes. So you hear about the piece you meant, not everything with the same keyword.
How fast will I hear about a new listing?
When a scheduled check finds a strong match. Not instantly. Alerts save you from checking by hand, but a very good listing can still sell fast.
Does an alert know my size?
Yes. Saved searches keep your sizes, so you only hear about pieces that fit. Price drops come from the listings you saved. Save one and we tell you when the price moves.
Does an alert mean I'll get the item?
No. An alert means you'll know when a strong match appears. It can't promise the match exists, or that you'll be first. It stops the case where it sat listed for a week and you never knew.
How do I stop or change an alert?
In the app, any time. Pause it or delete it. If an alert stops being useful, it should stop.
